'Heat and Light - An African Canvas' March 21st - 31st 2024

'Heat and Light - An African Canvas' March 21st - 31st 2024

Opening for sales from 21st March 2024 this exhibition is a collaboration with my fabulous artist friend John Threlfall and Artists for Painted Dogs. We have both taken part in exhibitions with AFPD in the past and donated a portion of our sales to the various conservation charities they support. This year we are teaming up for an online joint exhibition and we will donate 35% of sales to the Endangered Wildlife Trust Home - Endangered Wildlife Trust (ewt.org.za)

It has been a joy to work on these small paintings, inspired by my many safaris to Botswana and Zambia over the last 20 years. When John and I were lucky enough to travel to South Luangwa in 2016 we had a fantastic 10 days of sketching, painting and writing. Immersed in the wildlife that inspires us , the colours, heat and light of Africa remained long after we returned home. I have been so fortunate to enjoy many adventures in Botswana and feel so connected to the wilderness of the Okavango Delta. Painting these pictures has transported me back to a place I love and I hope the artwork reflects that passion.

You can preview the artwork on sale on the AFPD website here and will be able to make a purchase from March 21st.
