Earth|Ark
In 2004 I met professional guide and wildlife photographer Steven Stockhall while I was on safari in Botswana. He was planning a book of his photographs taken over ten years of working as a guide in Northern Botswana and he asked me if I would be interested in producing some illustrations for it. Four years and many discussions later the dream became a reality and we published a full colour coffee table book in May 2008. Lavishly illustrated with 120 of Steve’s photographs and over 40 of my pencil drawings ‘Earth Ark A photographic safari through Northern Botswana’ is a unique and very personal view of one of Africa’s last surviving pristine wildernesses and reflects the love both Steve and I share for this amazing region.
Earth Ark was printed in South Africa on Sappi’s Triple Green Avalon paper which comes from sustainable sources, using by-products of the sugar cane industry and a chlorine free process. It is printed slightly larger than A4 in landscape format and with 180 pages of beautiful photographs, pencil drawings and fascinating information about the wildlife and wilderness which inspired the book there is much to interest and delight the reader. The text is interspersed with inspiring quotes and observations form many well known people including the Dalai Lama.

are a limited edition and are only available in the UK through me.
